This is an abstract of a woman that was in a crowd in one of my reference photos, which I singled out to make a painting, using my New Genesis paints. I love them, but it took me a while to get the hang of using, and blending them.
Art is my passion. I draw and paint what I see, what I dream, what I want to share with others. I believe Art is a cultural expression of our society; it creates freedom of expression, inspires mental and spiritual peace, stimulates our minds, and our emotions; it encourages us to be more creative. It gives us beauty to warm our souls. Without Art life would be extremely boring! I have worked mostly with oils, but also used watercolors, pastels, and acrylics. I have just recently (November 2018) started working with colored pencils, which I have come to absolutely LOVE.
